This layer is intended to provide an updated and user-friendly tool for identifying the watershed of selected areas only in the Map Direct Mitigation Bank Service Area Map Application. This layer is a compilation of the updated watershed basin layers from the Florida Water Management Districts (WMD) similar to that provided in Rule 62-342 Florida Administrative Code. To mitigate alignment errors caused by co-linear features, as well as shifts from transforming mitigation banking data from State Plane Coordinate Systems to NAD 83 (2011) FL GDL Albers, a -10-meter (inverse) buffer is applied. Furthermore, polygons with high-vertex counts may be simplified to optimize processing performance.
